정보시스템 아웃소싱에 관한 실증분석 - 중견제약업체의 사례를 중심으로 -

Currently, the information technology has been developed very fast. In this situation, companies should be competitive to survive in the world market by using the information system(IS) effectively. The companies have to try to concentrate on their core competence by outsourcing the normal operations related to their information systems. And, the companies should have the capabilities of fast business decisions from outsourcing.In this research, various case studies of the companies including the small and medium business companies, which have been operating information system successfully by outsourcing, were reviewed. The data gathered from the case studies were analyzed statistically. It was found that the success factors between the large and the small business companies were different. But, the most companies have benefits from the cost reduction related to the IS maintenance.To make an IS outsourcing successful, it was found that the partnership between the supplier and the customer was very important. And, the training about outsourcing within the organization was also important. When the outsourcing was carried out under the proper management, the quality of outsourcing could be improved, and the companies could have more benefits.
