스토리텔링을 이용한 향토음식 발굴과 관광상품화 연구: 광주·전남지역 명가 음식을 대상으로

A Stydy on the Excavation of Reputable Family Foods of Gwangju and JeollaNam-do, and Tourism Commercialization based on Historic Storytelling

This study investigated the history and tradition related to the reputable families, and also discovered the inherited foods in Gwangju and JeollaNam-do. And this study conducted in-depth interview the 12 reputable families in Gwangju and JeollaNam-do from May until September in 2006. The purpose of this study intended to make the historical storytelling by the integration the historic stories into the regional representative folk foods. The results of this survey showed three fields; the historical character and history of their family of the reputable families, the family anecdote and food culture involved in the inherited foods, and the recipe of reputable families. Also the results are organized by storytelling. This is to present the point of view that the folk foods give attractions to the tourist, so improves the commercialization of tourism. We unearthed the reputable family's root and tradition, and kept track of the unique recipe for the folk foods to get commercial images as tourist attractions. Through this effort, historic storytelling is added to the illustrious food which is selected from Gwangju and JeollaNam-do. It would not only allow far more special commercialization, but also help increase the value of cultural tourism in Gwangju and JeollaNam-do.
