SCM지식과 조직구조와의 관계에 대한 실증 연구

초록
SCM은 연구자들과 기업가들 모두에게 많은 관심을 불러오고 있으며, 그동안 주요한 연구주제로 활용되었다. 그동안의 SCM 관련연구들은 주로 수용이나 실행과정에 초점을 두고 진행되어 왔으며, SCM 지식이나 조직구조 등에 대한 심층적인 연구가 부족한 편이다. 특히 지식경영 분야에서 다루어져온 조직지식 중에서 특히 기업내에 형성된 SCM지식과 조직구조의 관계에 대하여 살펴볼 필요성이 점차 부각되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 SCM지식의 유형을 상부 SCM지식, 내부 SCM지식 그리고 하부 SCM지식 등의 3가지 차원으로 구분하고 조직구조의 분권화, 성과통제, 전문화 그리고 통합화에 미치는 영향력 과정을 연구모형화하고 실증적으로 검증하였다. 이를 위해 국내 상장기업으로부터 수집한 83개 자료를 이용하여, 구조방정식 모형을 이용한 경로분석 결과 SCM지식이 조직구조의 4가지 차원에 미치는 영향력을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구가설 검증결과를 통해 SCM지식이 조직구조의 분권화, 성과통제, 전문화, 통합화의 정도에 각각 미치는 영향력 과정을 살펴보았으며, 기업의 조직구조 개선을 위해 SCM지식의 역할을 확인하였다는 의의를 지니고 있다.
Abstract
Supply chain management has become a topic of great interest to both researchers and practitioners, yet very little empirical research relates directly to SCM. By providing both a definition and operationalization of SCM Knowledge, this study extends existing research in the areas of both organizational knowledge and supply chain management. Furthermore, it extends research in the organizational structure arena by examining conceptualized relationships between SCM knowledge and organizational structure. The second theoretical implication relates to the empirical testing of the conceptualized relationships linking SCM knowledge and organizational structure. The development and testing of a conceptual model that dimensions of SCM adds to the theoretical foundations as it is related to a specific type of organizational knowledge and organizational structure variables.
