최근 주거용 가구 디자인 경향에 관한 연구

초록
인간은 집이라는 자신의 공간 속에서 의․식․주를 해결하고 생활의 재충전의 기회로 삼는다. 또한 최근 재택 근무자의 수요가 상승하면서 이 공간이 업무공간이라는 또 하나의 역할을 수용하고 있다. 이러한 의․식․주와 재충전 및 업무공간을 효율적으로 구성하기 위해서는 가구의 구성이 중요한 요소로서 작용한다. 이러한 맥락에서 효율적인 가구 디자인을 하기 위해 세계가구시장의 거대한 중심 축인 이태리 가구의 최근 가구디자인의 경향을 파악할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 가구 디자인의 경향을 가구의 기능․조형․생산적 요소를 배경으로 최근 이태리 가구디자인의 경향을 살펴보았다. 각 주거공간 중에서도 동선의 흐름이 많고 다양한 가구의 모습을 엿볼 수 있는 침실과 거실, 부엌, 업무공간으로 나누어 살펴보았으며, 기능적인 가구디자인의 경향과 이태리 가구디자인의 주요한 특징중의 하나인 조형성이 강한 가구들의 경향을 살펴보았다. 또한 가구라는 하나의 기능에 충실하면서도 새로운 컨셉트의 신개념 가구들의 사례를 통해 가구 디자인의 새로운 가능성을 찾아보고자 하였다.
Abstract
People are finding home as their own space, where they dress themselves, eat and live and they get the chance for refreshment in daily lives. As the needs for home office workers are increasing, home is changing to be another working space as well. And planning furniture is one of key factors to organize the efficient space for basic needs, refreshment and working of people. Consequently, it is necessary to analyze the updated trends of Italian furnitures which are in the core of world furniture markets, so as to develop the efficient space planning. This study has objectives to look over the trends of current Italian furnitures, mainly in the functional, aesthetic and factory issues. And it is focused on the bedroom, livingroom, kitchen and working room where people often move around and various furnitures are needed for each purpose accordingly. And it also emphasize the aesthetics of furniture design which is one of most distinctive features in Italian furnitures. And finally, this report is trying to find the new possibility of furniture design through case studies of new furnitures which have futuristic and fresh concepts as well as fundamental functions.
