초록
In the ancient Korean bookkeeping method, all records are kept by noting the coming and going of transaction objects. In the records, there are two parties in every book - a giving subject and a receiving subject - along with two things being given and received. So the journal and the ledger are the same in the contents with the double duality of transaction. The journalizing keeps all the accounting information and the posting transports all the information in the journal to the accounts in the general ledger. In the closing of accounts, it does not apply the method of subtraction by adding used by present double entry bookkeeping. And closing to close accounts and closing for the determination of profit and loss are different things. In closing, this method first prepares a trial balance in the closing book. Next, it prepares an Inventory sheet and Income Statement. These three sheets are all the tables made during closing procedures.
