[연구배경] 복약지도는 환자에게 의약품 정보를 전달하여 오남용을 막고 복약 순응도를 높여 치료의 효과를 높이는 데 목적을 가진다. 현장에서의 복약지도는 대개 약사의 간단한 구두지시와 약봉투에 인쇄된 복약지도서의 제공으로 이루어진다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 약국에서 가장 많이 사용되는 약국 관리 소프트웨어인 PM2000의 복약지시서를 대상으로 문제점을 발견하고 이를 개선하는 것을 목적으로 한다. [연구방법] 현황조사와 휴리스틱 분석을 통하여 기존의 약봉투와 PM2000의 복약지시서의 문제점을 파악하고 디자인을 개선한다. 개선된 디자인을 제공하여 약사와 일반인에게 피드백을 받아 연구의 적절성을 판단한다. [연구결과] 기존의 복약지시서와 개선된 디자인의 복약지시서를 제시하였을 때 47명 중 45명이 새로운 복약지시서가 더 좋다고 대답하였다. [결론] 복약지시서 디자인의 개선으로 의료진과 환자의 커뮤니케이션이 효율적으로 진행되고 이를 통하여 치유를 도울 수 있는 치료적 디자인의 가능성을 파악하였다.
Abstract
[Background] The purpose of medication counseling is to convey the medication information to patients in order to prevent misuse, increase drug compliance, and improve the effectiveness of treatments. In the field, medication counseling is usually conducted through a simple oral comment from the pharmacist and a set of instructions printed on the medicine packets. This study aims at pointing out the issues of the instructions for taking medicine in PM2000, a management software for pharmacies that is most widely used in Korea.. [Methods] The problems of existing medicine packets and the instruction for taking medicine in PM2000 are explored and designs are improved through research and heuristic analysis. The improved design is provided to pharmacists and patients, and their feedback is used to make a judgment on the appropriacy of the research.. [Result] 45 out of 47 respondents preferred the new instructions when they were offered the existing instructions and the instructions with the improved design. [Conclusion] The improvement in design of the instructions facilitate efficient communication between the medical staff and the patients, and this provides a possibility of therapeutic design that can aid in treatment..
