사회복지사 감정노동이 우울에 미치는 영향에서 클라이언트 폭력 피해 경험의 조절효과

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of social workers' emotional labor on depression. This study characterizes emotional labor as deep acting and surface acting and this study aims to identify the moderating effect of client violence on the relationship between emotional labor(surface acting, deep acting) and depression among social workers. Using the survey data conducted by the National Human Rights Commission of Korea(2013), multiple regression analysis(moderated regression model) was conducted on 2,468 social workers. The findings of this study were as follows: First, the emotional labor-surface acting of social workers had significant positive relationship to their depression. But the emotional labor-deep acting of social workers had not showed any significant relationship to the depression. Second, client violence had a moderating effect on the relationship between emotional labor-surface acting among social workers and depression. However client violence had not showed moderating effect on the relationship between emotional labor-deep acting among social workers and depression. The implications and limitations of these findings were discussed, and directions for future studies were also proposed.
