한국 대학생의 대학생활적응 수준과 영향요인에 관한 연구

This study aims to investigate the level of Korean students’ college adaptation and its relationship with the various influencing factors. To achieve this goal, descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were conducted based on the responses of 1,974 university students in the 9th year (2014) of Korean Educational Longitudinal Study(KELS) 2005. The results are as follows. First, academic adjustment level showed the lowest among the four sub-areas of college adaptation in Korean students. Second, academic and social adjustment, and institutional commitment were most influenced by ‘faculty-student interaction’ and ‘a professor's emphasis on student learning and lectures’, whereas personal-emotional adjustment and overall college adaption were most influenced by ‘interpersonal confidence’. These results imply that university administrators should pay more attention to specific factors to improve the college adaptation level of students. Based on the results, we suggested measures that contribute to enhancing students’ college adaptation levels, such as learning aid programs, stress management plans, and enhanced faculty-student interaction.
