모바일 간편결제를 활용한 지역화폐 지속이용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

초록
코로나19 사태로 인한 소상공인 피해와 지역경제 침체를 해결하고자 하는 정부와 지자체 노력의 하나로 지역화폐 발행이 크게 늘고 있다. 또한 4차 산업혁명 시대를 맞아 정보접근성 및 사용 편의성이 향상된 IT 기반 지역화폐에 대한 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 하지만 지역화폐에 관한 기존 연구들은 호혜성 분석이나 경제적 효과 입증에 초점이 맞추어져 있고, IT 기반 지역화폐에 관한 연구는 미흡한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 확장된 통합기술수용이론을 중심으로 모바일 간편결제를 활용한 지역화폐 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 성과기대, 기대노력, 네트워크 외부성은 만족에 정(+)의 영향을, 지각된 위험은 만족에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 만족은 지속이용의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 정부와 지자체, 금융 및 IT 기업들에게 학술적인 측면뿐만 아니라 실무적 측면에서도 의미 있는 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
Recently the local currency has been highly emerging due to efforts of government to revive local economy and address the challenges of small business owners in the era of the COVID-19. As the 4th industrial revolution arised, people are also seeking local currency based on information technology for more information accessibility and ease of use. However, existing study related to local currency was mostly about the concept and history focusing on the social aspect or analysis of economy effect, and there has been very little research on the local currency utilizing IT. Hence, this study would like to conduct an empirical analysis to figure out factors effecting on the usage of local currency based on mobile payment service. As a result of the analysis, performance expectancy, effort expectancy and network externality have a positive effect on satisfaction and perceived risk has a negative effect on satisfaction. And satisfaction has a positive effect on usage intention. According to the research findings, this study is differentiated from previous studies owing to investigating critical elements of affecting the usage of local currency based on mobile payment and theoretical and practical implications for spreading local currency.
