사군자의 상징성을 소재로 한 창작업스타일 작품제작

초록
본 연구는 자연에서 예술을 발견하고 새롭게 창조하여 표현하고자 한다. 자연은 예술적 영감과 창작의 욕구를 불러 일으키며 인간은 자연을 모방하고 그 속에서 새로운 창조를 모색하며 인간은 자연으로부터 이미지를 받아 창작 욕구를 느끼게 한다. 무수한 자연의 모티브 중 식물은 여러가지 형의 변화가 가능한 좋은 소재로 작용하고 자연의 미는 인간의 행위를 통해 예술로 승화된다. 사군자는 현대적인 미와 전통의 미를 함께 표현할 수 있는 좋은 소재가 된다. 사군자는 매화(梅花) · 난초(蘭草) · 국화(菊花) · 대나무(竹) 등 네 가지 식물을 일컫는 말이다. 자연적 형태 이미지를 형상화하여 제시함으로써 사군자의 상징성을 소재로 한 형태 이미지 표현을 업스타일 이론적 기법을 응용하여 이론적으로 고찰하고, 업스타일 작품연구의 과정을 분석하여 기술 및 활용에 도움을 주는데에 연구하는 목적이 있다. 연구 방법은 매화, 난초, 국화, 대나무의 식물의 상징성과 이미지의 자료를 조사하여 4작품 업스타일을 제작하였다. 업스타일 기법들을 응용하여 방법을 찾아서 이미지를 창작하여 연출하였다. 첫째, 화려한 미를 내재하고 있는 매화, 부드러운 선으로 녹아든 난초, 반복적인 가운데 소박함이 묻어나는 국화, 그리고 곧은 직선 안에서 고요를 느낄 수 있는 대나무 등을 최대한 살려 사군자의 형태적 이미지를 분석하여 입체화함으로써 응용하여 표현하였다. 둘째, 사군자는 계절과도 연결이 되어 있으며, 춘하추동의 사계절에 순서에 맞추어 방향성을 접목하여 위치를 정하여 제작하였다. 셋째, 각각의 형태와 기법 등을 응용하여 작품을 표현하기 위해 여러 가지 기법을 사용하여 각각의 모티브를 해석하여 접근하였다. 새로운 관점에서 자연의 모습들을 통해 많은 소재를 활용해 예술로 승화시켜 자연을 바라보며 얻어지는 예술작품들이 연구되길 기대하고, 헤어 작품 업스타일이 창작활동의 폭을 넓히는데 보탬이 되어 업스타일 작품의 발전을 기대한다.
Abstract
This study seeks to discover art in nature and create and express it anew. Nature evokes artistic inspiration and desire for creation, humans imitate nature and seek new creation in it, and humans receive images from nature and feel the desire for creation. Among the countless natural motifs, plants act as good materials that can be changed in various forms, and the beauty of nature is sublimated into art through human actions. It becomes a good material that can express the modern beauty and the beauty of tradition together. Sagunja is a word that raises four plants: apricot, orchid, chrysanthemum, and bamboo. The purpose of this study is to theoretically consider the expression of the form image based on the symbolism of the Sagunja by embodying and presenting the natural form image, and to analyze the process of research on Up-style work to help with technology and utilization. The research method produced a four-piece up style by examining the symbolism and image data of the plants of the apricot, orchid, chrysanthemum, and bamboo. By applying up-style techniques, an image was created and directed by finding a method. First, it was applied and expressed by analyzing and making a three-dimensional image of the Sagunja, making the most of the plum blossoms with colorful beauty, orchids melted into soft lines, chrysanthemums with simplicity in the repetitive middle, and bamboo that can feel calm in a straight line. Second, the Sagunja is also connected to the season, and it was produced by combining directions according to the order of the four seasons of spring and summer. Third, each motif was interpreted and approached using various techniques to express the work by applying each form and technique. From a new perspective, it is expected that the artworks obtained by looking at nature will be studied by sublimating them into art using a lot of ashes through the appearances of nature, and the up-style hair work will contribute to expanding the breadth of creative activities and developing up-style works.
