브로콜리새싹 엑소좀의 인체적용시험을 통한 화장품 소재로서의 유효성 평가연구

Recently, exosomes have been gaining attention in the cosmetics industry. Because their effects can vary depending on their source cells, there has been extensive research on exosomes from different types of cells. This study aimed to explore the effects of exosome components isolated and purified from broccoli sprouts, known for their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immune-enhancing properties, through clinical trials. The trial involved 24 participants, with 12 in the experimental group and 12 in the control group. The experimental group used three types of basic cosmetics containing 0.1% broccoli sprout exosomes, while the control group adopted the same three types of cosmetics without the exosomes. Both groups applied their respective products every morning and evening over six weeks, and changes in their skin were monitored and observed. In the control group, no significant changes in the skin were observed. In contrast, the experimental group experienced notable improvements, including reduced facial wrinkles and pigmentation, increased moisture, and decreased skin roughness. However, there was no change in skin redness. The results indicate that broccoli sprout exosome components are effective in reducing facial wrinkles and pigmentation, making them advantageous for aging skin. They also improve skin moisture and texture, which helps protect the skin and maintain its barrier function. These findings suggest that broccoli sprout exosomes have significant potential as cosmetic ingredients.
