중국 경영사상에 관한 역사적 문헌연구

This study explores the forms of management revealed in ancient and medieval Chinese historical texts as in the modern Western world. We undertook this project not to prove any hypotheses or to justify a theory but to find out what textual data exist about Chinese management and organizations. Chinese management thought was formed and developed from ancient China and evolved into the system of management and control through medieval ages. It was developed and transformed by emperors themselves, philosophers, and strategists throughout early and medieval Chinese history. Their thinking was mostly focused on leadership, strategy, and organization. Some theoretical implications are the following. Chinese management thought has theoretically reasonable system that any current management theoretician can infer from. It covers broad issues in management and control comprehensively. It gives more emphasis on the idea of leadership among others. And it evolved and changed from democratic management thought in ancient times into more control-oriented management thought in medieval states.
