화예디자인에서의 에로틱 이미지 표현 방법에 관한 연구

Today, design greatly serves a psychologic function to reflect customers' need in addition to its original function. And thus designers began to focus on sexual desires of the public which have been long suppressed. The erotic image rapidly spreads over the entire design field, having a great effect upon all sectors of society. With such realities in mind, I believe that efforts to seek erotic images, on the basis of a positive interpretation of eroticism that is lying beneath human psychology, from the floral art and design, which uses living flowers to express inherent desire of humans formatively, in order to find potential for representation and provide direction, is a worth while research subject. The first chapter will state the background, purpose, scope and method of research. The second chapter will begin by examining the concept of eroticism and factors that shape it in order to help readers better understand the meaning of eroticism. In the third chapter, virtual works in floral art and design by computer synthesis are produced and interpreted. The fourth chapter suggests methods to express erotic images in floral art and design. It is the hope and expectation of this researcher that this study will result in an increased use of eroticism as an expressive subject for floral design leading to the improvement in the quality of floral art and design.
