디자인발상의 발명가능성 탐색 연구

초록
디자인 전개과정에서 아이디어 발상과 창의성이 매우 중요하다는 것을 실제 디자인의 여러 사례를 통하여 인식하게 된다. 디자인은 사고에서부터 출발하고 또, 사고한 내용과 가치가 최종적으로 디자인가치에 전가되어 판정하게 하는 요소로서 작용하는 경우가 많다. 따라서 디자인 대상의 용도나 기능 그리고 외부형태나 구조 등 조형요소에 이르기 까지 구체적인 아이디어를 발상하고 이에 대한 면밀한 분석이 긴요하게 요구된다. 특히 아이디어 개발과정에서 디자인의 근간이 되는 조형요소에 대하여 창의적 조형으로 발상을 고취함으로서 디자인의 실체화과정에서 발명으로 발전할 수 있는 기회를 얻을 수가 있기 때문이다. 이러한 점에서 발상내용의 발명 가능성 여부를 탐색하고 판단해 보는 것은 디자인 아이디어의 발상과 창의성을 더욱 고취시키는 기회로 작용할 수 있으며 이는 디자인분야의 가치 확장을 위해서도 매우 중요한 문제가 될 수 있다고 판단된다. 디자인 조형성에 관한 문제로서 창의적인 아이디어에 수반하여 형태와 구조의 특징이 자연의 현상에 기반하고 있음을 레오나르도 다빈치의 발명사례에서 발견된다. 이밖에 우리의 생활주변에서 사용되는 새로운 용도와 기능에서 기인되는 창의성 있는 아이디어제품의 사례는 이러한 발명가능성을 조형성의 고려에 의해서도 다양하게 가능할 수 있다는 것을 시사하여주고 있다. 이러한 발상의 확장을 통한 창의적인 가치를 찾아서 발명 가능성을 다양한 측면에서 탐색해 보았다.
Abstract
Many cases of actual designs cognized that ideation and creativity were very much important at design development process. The design often started from thought to decide on design values by contents and values of the thought. Therefore, the use, the function, external forms and structures and other design factors relied upon concrete ideas to require careful investigation. In particular, an idea development was based on the creativity of design factors to invent a design at substantiation.The search for inventive possibilities could promote creative design conception to be very much important to expand values of design areas. The invention of Leonardo da Vinchi evidenced that the forms and structural features were based on the nature's phenomenon together with creative ideas. The case of creative idea products that were produced by new use and functions around people's living lives showed that designs could give inventive possibility in various ways. The paper examined inventive possibilities from various points of view when searching for creative values.
