균형성과표 도입기간, 연계촉진자와 균형성과표 활용 효과성 간의 관련성 연구

초록
기업은 BSC를 통한 최적의 효과창출을 위해서 전 조직원의 전략에 대한 명확한 이해, 경영층과의 의사소통 촉진, 내부경영체재의 정비, 책임경영체재의 강화 등 기업의 전략적 일체화를 위해 노력한다. 본 연구는 2006년 7월 현재 국내 BSC 도입기업 70여개의 업체 중, 도입기간이 2.5년 이상에 이르는 40개 업체를 대상으로 분석을 하였다. 연구결과, BSC의 도입기간이 오래될수록 BSC가 제공하는 정보의 활용성과와 BSC 정보수렴도는 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 최고경영자 및 중간관리자의 보고시스템 수립정도, TOP 10 고객의 의견수렴도, 성공적인 벤치마킹사례의 정보 수렴 등 BSC의 효과적 운영을 위한 다양한 정보의 수렴도도 높아진다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구대상인 국내기업의 경우, 전략수행과 모니터링 수행노력은 BSC 도입 후 3년에서 5년 사이에 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한 전략과 균형성과표의 연계촉진자 실행수준에 따른 BSC 활용의 효과성을 분석한 결과, 전략수행노력 및 모니터링의 실행수준과 경영진의 BSC 참여 및 이해도 그리고 BSC와 관련된 관계정보의 수렴도가 높을수록 BSC가 제공하는 정보수준과 정보 활용성과가 높았으며, 기업성과도 매우 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 곧 전략목표달성의 수단이자 기업구성원들의 전략소통의 수단인 BSC가 결국 기업 내 구성원들의 커뮤니케이션 강화, 다양한 벤치마킹을 통한 학습, 꾸준한 프로세스로서의 관리가 이루어질때 기업성과의 향상에 기여 할 수 있다는 결과를 보여주는 것이다.
Abstract
The corporate that practiced successfully BSC makes efforts to understand a firm's strategy and communicate the board of directors and have nice appearance internal management and change the personnel's consciousness. these are to create the optimal effects through the BSC. Fulfillment strengthening of facilitators in practice strategy is possible to promote firm's performance and effectiveness of BSC application. So, this study describes the relationships among period of BSC adoption, alignment facilitators and effectiveness of BSC application. The results of study are summarized as follows. The longer the period of BSC adoption, The higher performance of information utilization and convergence of BSC information. Also, the relationship of effectiveness of BSC application and the implementation level of alignment facilitators are significant and positive. but, the relationship of the period of BSC adoption and firm's performance are not significant. So, to promote of firm's performance, it is necessary to fulfillment strengthening of alignment facilitators in practice strategy. Above the rest of facilitators, participation of the board of directors on BSC is important to promote the firm's performance.
