중소기업의 이업종 교류행태와 만족도가 경영성과에 미치는 영향

Hetero-sectoral exchanges have been practiced for about 20 years in Korea. They are partially financed by the government and have a national network. However, SMEs still have limitations in establishing a network and exchanging information failing to produce tangible results. The objective of this research is to explore the current status of hetero-sectoral exchanges being practiced in Korea and to seek an advanced level of such exchanges. In order to achieve the objective a questionnaire survey was administered to the SMEs in Daejeon and South Chungcheong province which are members of the association of hetero-sectoral exchange. Hypothesis test was conducted and the results are as follows. It was found that hetero-sectoral exchange behaviors of SMEs and their satisfaction with exchange results had significant impact on SME performances. Therefore, it is necessary to develop programs aimed at enhancing the level of satisfaction with exchanges in order to improve the performances of hetero-sectoral exchanges. This research is meaningful in that it made the first scientific analysis of business characteristics, the satisfaction with hetero-sectoral exchanges, and their results. It is hoped that similar studies will be conducted to lay a scientific basis for SMEs so that there will be more advanced exchanges in developing joint technology, exploring new markets, and converging strategic technologies.
