초록
본 연구의 목적은 ERP시스템 도입 업체를 대상으로 ERP시스템의 확산이 경영통제시스템의 변화에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 규명하고자 하는데 있다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 ERP시스템과 경영통제시스템에 관한 문헌고찰을 하였고, 이러한 고찰을 통하여 ERP시스템 확산, 업무보고 변화 및 조직구조 변화가 경영통제시스템 변화에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지의 연구모형을 설정하였다. 분석결과 ERP시스템의 확산이 조직구조 변화와 업무보고 변화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 또한 조직구조 변화는 업무보고 변화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, ERP시스템을 통한 조직구조 변화와 업무보고 변화는 경영통제시스템 변화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. ERP시스템의 확산은 경영통제시스템 변화에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으나, 조직구조 변화 및 업무보고 변화를 통해 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 ERP시스템의 경영관리에 대한 영향과 관련하여 개념적으로 모호한 부분을 보완하고, ERP시스템 확산의 경영통제시스템 변화에 대한 영향을 검증하고자 하였으나, 이 분야의 초기적 연구이므로 인해 많은 다양한 변수를 활용하지 못했다는 점이다. 향후 연구에서는 보다 정확한 분석과 검증을 위해 분석방법론을 개발하고 보다 세부적인 요인을 찾아낼 수 있는 연구방법이 적용되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The currently most advanced administrative corporate IT solutions have emerged in the form of enterprise resource planning systems(ERPS). The fast diffusion of ERPS represents an important social phenomenon and also effects on management accounting. The purpose of the study is to examine the effects of ERPS on management accounting, management control systems in particular. This study tested the ERPS's influence on the changes in reporting practices and the organization structure, and the effects of these changes and ERPS on management control systems. The analysis used 106 survey data collected from Korean manufacture firms listed on the stock exchange. The results showed that the diffusion of ERP systems influence significantly positively the changes in reporting practices and the organization structure, and these changes effect on significantly positively the changes in management control systems. The correlation between the diffusion of ERP systems and the changes in management control systems was in the expected direction, but was not statistically significant.
