관광학부학생들의 전공분야 현장실습에 관한 연구: 서울시내 4년제 대학교 재학생의 특성을 중심으로
An Exploratory Study of Hospitality Internship Program : Focusing on the University Students’ Personal Traits in Seoul

본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 서울시내 4년제 대학 관광학부 학생들의 산학협력 현장실습에 대한 현황을 파악하고, 둘 째, 전공에 대한 관심정도에 따른 집단 간 차이를 비교하여 전공분야 현장실습결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출하 는 것이다. 서울시내 4년제 대학교 관광학부 학생들을 대상으로 263부의 설문지가 회수되어 분석에 이용되었다. 실 습경험유무 및 전공분야 실습관심여부에 따라 응답자는 세 집단으로 분류되었다. 첫 번째 집단은 전공과 관련이 있 는 분야에서 실습을 경험하였다고 응답한 학생들(집단 1)이며, 두 번째 집단은 실습을 경험하지 않았으나, 전공분야 실습에 관심이 있다고 응답한 학생들(집단 2)이다. 마지막 집단은 실습을 경험하지 않았으며, 전공분야 실습에 관심 이 없다고 응답한 학생들(집단 3)이다. 진로미결정수준의 집단 간 차이를 분석한 결과, 집단 1은 타 집단들에 비해 진로미결정수준이 낮은 것으로 조사되었다. 집단 간 라이프스타일 분석결과, 집단 1은 타 집단에 비해 도전적 성향 및 종교 지향적 성향이 강한 것으로 나타났다. 현장실습에 대한 기대요인의 차이분석 결과, 집단 1이 타 집단에 비 해 자기개발과 직무경험에 높은 기대를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 현장실습을 경험한 학생들을 대상으로 기대와 만 족의 차이를 비교한 결과 모든 항목에서 기대가 만족보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 특히 뛰어난 부가혜택, 혁신적인 아이디어 장려, 풍부한 관리지도, 포괄적인 트레이닝 프로그램, 흥미롭고 도전적인 직무 항목에서 가장 큰 차이를 느끼는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was, first, to find out the current status of internship participants on cooperative system between school and cooperation. Second purpose was to analyze the determinants for internship participation according to participant's interest in major. For this study, 263 surveys were collected from university students who are majoring in hospitality management in Seoul. Respondents were classified into three groups. The students who had experience of internship in hospitality industry were classified into group 1. Group 2 was classified as students who had no internship experience but had interest in major related internship. The students who had no internship experience and had no interest in major related internship were classified into Group 3. Students in Group 1 were found out to have lower career indecision level than level of other groups. After one-way ANOVA on lifestyle factors, students in Group 1 were turned out to be more aggressive, and religion-friendly. After one-way ANOVA on expectation factors of internship, students in Group 2 were found out to have more expectation on self-development and work-experience than other groups did. After analyzing expect-satisfaction analysis on Group 1, students were found out to have more expectation than satisfaction on most questions, and expecially on supplement benefits, innovative idea encouragement, affluent management teaching, comprehensive training program, and interesting(challenging) work.
