연상을 통한 창의적 발상 디자인교육 방법 연구 -전문계고 디자인교과를 중심으로-

Modern society requires creativity as an important keyword in every field of study. Therefore, a design education that can develop creativity is urgently needed. This experiment searches for the relationship between creative ideas for design with image association and the possibility of actual application of this method in class. Unlike the original method of teaching, which were based on coincidental idea or imitation, this experiment sets its means in going through various forms of creative thinking and abstract and symbolical concept of creative image association process. This method aims for improvement in creative thinking in order to arouse greater visual interest and to communicate more effectively. According to the analysis of the survey, the common difficulty that many teachers experience is development of creativity and visualization of ideas. In order to develop effective brainstorming skill, association takes a major role. However, education of association is not taking place systematically despite our need for it. Through this study on education system that focuses on development of association of creative ideas, we can supplement the limit of our current system, broaden flexible thinking and image visualization skills that is essential for educators, and help to promote a new, active and fundamental attempt. Also, it will assist to break away from fixed and common ideas and build original ideas in new point of view, providing a differentiated program from existing brainstorm.
