장수 중소기업의 성공요인에 관한 실증적 연구 - 창원지역 장수 중소기업을 대상으로

본 연구는 창원시 소재 장수 중소기업으로 선정된 총415개 기업들 중 조사에 응한 기업 59개사를 대상으로 세분화된 기업별 장수시스템을 분석하고 정리하여 시스템 공학적 관점에서 이론적 체계 및 기반을 기초로 하였고, 이들 기업에 대한 홈페이지, 설문, 면접 등을 통하여 조사 및 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 조사에 응한 기업 59개사를 분석한 결과 업종별 장수기업의 현황을 구체적으로 살펴보면 제조업이 46개 기업으로 78%를 차지해 가장 많았다. 이는 창원지역이 기계공업단지라는 것이 배경으로 작용했다고 할 수 있다. 다음으로 운수·보관업이 6개 기업(10.2%), 건설업이 5개 기업(8.4%), 전기·가스업이 2개 기업(3.4%)를 차지하고 있다. 조사대상 장수 중소기업의 평균은 29.2년 이었고 그 중 건설업이 30.6년으로 가장 길었으며 제조업이 27.2년으로 가장 짧은 것으로 조사되었다. 환경요인에 대한 분석결과에 따르면 모든 업종에서 국제환경에 더 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 나타나 글로벌 경영환경의 변화에 민감하게 반응하는 것으로 분석되었다. 자원요인에 대한 분석결과 모든 업종에서 비물질적 자원요인에 더 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 역량요인에 대한 분석에서 제조업은 유사한 것으로 나타났고, 건설업과 운수․보관업은 조직역량이 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.
Abstract
In this study, of 415 small and medium enterprises chosen as long-established ones in Changwon city, we analyze the longevity system of 59 companies filled out a survey and filed those data based on the theoretical structure of systems engineering. This study's findings are summarized as follows. In industrial classification of 59 companies surveyed, the number of manufacturers was highest at 46 by 78% because Changwon city is an industrial complex, followed by transportation & storage businesses at 6(10.2%), construction businesses at 5(8.4%), and electricity & gas businesses at 2(3.4%). Those companies's average life expectancy was 29.2 years, construction longest at 30.6 years and manufacturing shortest at 27.2 years. In analysis of environmental factor, global environment had much effect on all of business and most of companies surveyed responded sensitively to global business environment. In analysis of resources factor, non-material resources factor had more effect on all of business. In analysis of capability factor, manufacturers were similar to on another and organizational capability had more effect on transportation & storage businesses.
