The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the participation motivation of volunteers in social welfare facilities on their work satisfaction and continuance will. After relevant theories and earlier studies were reviewed, it was assumed that the participation motivation elements of volunteers in social welfare facilities involving altruistic motivation and selfish motivation would affect the components of their work satisfaction and continuance will. The findings of the study were as follows:First, this study provided clear evidence that work satisfaction and continuance will was very important variable which affected volunteers in social welfare facilities. Second, The altruistic motivation of the volunteers in social welfare facilities, one of the participation motivation factors, exerted a significant influence on their work satisfaction and continuance will. The last, based on these findings, the research discussion extended to the implication of an appropriate intervention for those volunteers in social welfare facilities.
