For students majoring in hospitality industry, the opportunity of practical training in the field can be described asa professional training course to establish an identity as a professional employee and learn practical skills andqualifications required in the field. Therefore, this study targeted 453 university students, majoring in the hospitalityindustry at the universities located in Gyeonggi and Chungcheong regions in order to assess the importance ofselection property that is considered important when selecting industry-academic practical training and to administercomparative analysis of the importance and satisfaction level. According to the importance-satisfaction level analysis, the students majoring in the hospitality industry feelsatisfied with their major, and their satisfaction significantly affect their feelings of decision making and pendencyin their career decision making. However, the students' importance and satisfaction in the prospect of major looksstill low, and we can realize that an education on the prospect of hospitality industry is not being done yet. Inaddition, practical training should be included and operated in the regular curriculum of a school like in developedcountries, and the evaluation of program should be made by school, company and students together so that thesatisfaction on the practical training become high and contribute to student's career decision making. Therefore, theacademic community and industry cooperatively apprehend the reasons of low satisfaction and students' practicaltraining importance factors correctly, find and prevent predicted problems beforehand, and produce qualified talentsof hospitality industry through improvement of practical training education satisfaction.
