현무암을 활용한 문양디자인 개발 및 디자인상품연구

초록
문양은 오래전부터 상징적, 장식적, 주술적 의미를 지니며 언제 어디서나 존재해 왔다. 끊임없이 변화하는 역사, 문화, 사회 등을 반영하며 함께 변화하였고 개발된 문양은 다양한 사물에 적용되어 상품화 되었다. 반면 돌의 문양은 현재까지 살펴보면 선의 단순화를 통한 괴석문을 제외하면 돌 표면의 사실적 문양을 사용하거나 쌓는 방식에 의해 나타나는 문양으로 크게 2가지 방향으로 사용되고 있다. 제주의 디자인상품개발을 위한 다양한 현무암의 문양을 개발하기 위해서 현재까지 사용된 돌 문양을 조사 및 분석 하여 돌 문양의 분류체계를 정의하고 기연구된 논문을 통해 문양 개발의 프로세스를 기초문양개발과 확장된 형태인 응용문양개발로 2단계화 시켰으며 이를 바탕으로 현무암을 사실적, 양식적, 추상적 문양으로 개발하고 이를 적용한 디자인상품을 제안하였다. 이로써 현무암문양의 다양한 개발은 현무암 자체로써만 상품화가 되는 것이 아니라 문양의 개발과 적용으로써 지역특색을 지니는 디자인상품으로써 색다르고 다양한 개발방법에 많은 방향을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
Having a symbolic, decorative, magical significance, Patterns have been existed anywhere for a long time. Constantly being be affected by history, culture, society, the pattern are having developed and changed, and then it have been applied to various things commercially. But if we research the pattern of stone, It’s pattern has been used two directions, except for the unusual rock that used simple lines. one is to use an exact realistic surface pattern of stone, the other is to use stacking method. In order to develop a variety of Basalt patterns for Jeju’s souvenir, we have to define the classification scheme with a research and analysis of stone. the method of pattern design can be organized into two ways. one way is to make a basic pattern, the other is to make a expanded pattern. these two way could be applied to the development and product of this stone patterns. Through the development of a various patterns of Jeju basalt, the Souvenir of jeju can be presented a variety of ways.
