한국 전통 도깨비 문양을 활용한 텍스타일 디자인

The traditional material that embraces cultural universality and specificity is evolving and developing with empathy and aesthetic value change over time. The purpose of this study is to develop a textile design which can be extended as cultural contents through the formative analysis of the pattern of the dokaebi pattern which is expressed in the traditional pattern of Korea. The formative characteristics of the dokaebi are represented by the characteristics of humor, concurrence and diversity. The detailed factors of the dokaebi shape can be classified into distortion, exaggeration, repetition, combination and combination according to the expression method. The symbolic meaning of dokaebi and the textile design developed through the formative reinterpretation were able to express as dynamic and vibrant creature and to expand variously. In addition, we could show differentiated value of traditional culture through the combination and expansion of design in the dimension of traditional design. This study has significance in suggesting the diversity of traditional visual sense approach to aesthetic images.
