지역대학 이공계 연구인력 육성방안을 위한 탐색적 연구

This study presents the policy measures of local universities through statistical analysis of where the research workforce is vulnerable to research by local universities. The analysis found that research personnel from full-time faculty, former researchers and research assistants at private universities were generally reduced or stagnant. It has been found that the reduction and congestion of former teachers in the field of natural science, former researchers, and research funds are outstanding. In total, the cost of full-time teaching, research and research in the field of natural science at private universities is seriously depressed. In addition, it is understood that since there are many new teachers with many industrial experience, it will be difficult to expect a research rush even if hired as a new teacher. As a result, the limitations of research personnel in science and engineering at local universities can be summed up by private universities, former teachers in natural sciences and former researchers. The policy direction presented three things: First, structural reform and policy support that fits the characteristics of local universities, secondly, fostering and settling foreign researchers, and thirdly, fostering the natural sciences using IBS.
