초록
This paper empirically investigated the influence relationships among stakeholder pressures(the public and non-public institutions’ pressures), ecological environmental uncertainty(the policy and non-policy related uncertainty), environmental innovation openness(openness with major firms and with other organizations), green absorptive capacity, knowledge competence, green innovations, and environmental performance. For this study, 104 firm’s data were collected through the mail survey. To analyze the influence relationships, multiple regression analyses were employed. The results showed that stakeholder pressures and non-policy related uncertainty have a positive impact on the openness of environmental innovations. It was also found that the openness with other organizations, such as expert and academic groups, university, and research institutions, positively and significantly affects the degrees of the knowledge competence of a manufacturing firm. The impact of green absorptive capacity on knowledge competence was not significant. According to the results, the positive effects of knowledge competence on the environmental product and process innovations were found. Thus, it is concluded that the innovation of a firm requires various types of knowledge, and the capability of knowledge supplies in a firm inevitably influences the degrees of innovations. Finally, it was observed that the environmental product innovation has positive effects on the environmental performance of a firm.
