This study aims to verify the impact of territorial behavior on employee innovative performance, the mediating effect of knowledge sharing and the moderating effect of collectivism. Based on the theoretical research, this study put forward 5 key hypotheses and established a research model. data was collected from different organizations' staff in China by questionnaire method, SPSS 23.0 & AMOS 22.0 programs were used to examine the hypotheses of the study model. Results show that marking behavior has a significant positive correlation with knowledge sharing and employees' innovative performance, defending behavior has a significant negative correlation with knowledge sharing and innovative performance, knowledge sharing is significantly and positively related to innovative performance. Knowledge sharing plays a mediating role between territorial behavior and innovative performance, and collectivism plays a moderating role of the relationship between territorial behavior and innovative performance. This study also provides some suggestions for managers in organization, managers could focus on the influence of employees’ territorial behavior on their innovative performance, and by adopting reasonable measures, employees could be encouraged to share knowledge and information, fully demonstrate initiative, moreover, managers could protect employees' innovation, and build a win-win cooperation organization culture, cultivate employee's collectivism spirit, thus to achieve better innovative performance of employees. In addition, territorial behavior is a relatively new topic. At present, domestic scholars seldom study this field, but it is ubiquitous in organizations and will directly affect employee behavior. Therefore, it is of great significance to study it.
