부산 전략산업의 경쟁력과 성장기여도 및 상품공간 분석

본 연구는 2019년 선정된 부산의 7대 전략산업과 22개 유망분야에 대한 현황과 그 경쟁력을 지역특화도, 성장기여도, 다양성지수, 상품공간 모형에 의한 고급화지수 등을 통해 분석하였다. 부산의 전략산업들을 종사자별과 산출액별 두 가지 기준으로 본다면, 특화관광, 라이프스타일, 항만물류, 수산가공, 에너지시스템 등 5개 부문에서 지역특화우위가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 부산지역 22개 유망분야의 절대적 다양성을 2013-2017년 기간 동안의 엔트로피 지수를 구해 그 추세를 살펴보면, 대체로 부산지역 22개 세부전략산업들의 다양성은 2014년까지는 다소 증가하였다가 그 후 2017년까지 조금씩 감소하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 부산지역 22개 유망분야의 고급화지수인 Aprody지수와 AEXPY 지수를 종합해 보면 글로벌 관광산업의 특화관광, 라이프케어산업 중 스마트헬스케어와 라이프스타일, 스마트해양산업 중 항만물류산업과 수산가공산업, 클린테크 산업 중 에너지시스템 산업등의 고급화 지수가 높게 나타났다.
Abstract
This study analyzes the competitive power of 7 strategic industries and 22 promising sub-industry fields in Busan using the recent 2013-2017 industry statistical data. To measure the competitive power of Busan’s strategic industries, this paper adopted several analytical tools such as the entropy index and the up-scale indices such as Prody index and EXPY index, as well as the location quotient analysis and shift-share analysis. Busan’s strategic industries have comparative advantages in the specialized tourism, lifestyle, seaport and logistics, fishery process, energy system industries from the viewpoints of employment and sales in Busan. According to the entropy index, Busan’s industries seem to have increasing varieties during 2013-2017 but have decreasing varieties and increasing specialization indices after 2014. The up-scale indices such as the Aprody index and AEXPY index increased in the specialized tourism, smart health care, living care, port and logistics, fishery process, and energy system industries.
