전문대학의 국제교류 지표 분석 및 정책적 시사점 -외국인 유학생을 중심으로-

This study conducted an analysis of international exchange indicators in University Colleges in South Korea. Indicator analysis provides the basis for the rational decision making of policies based on quantitative informa- tion and objective evidence using statistical data on University Colleges. Information analysis based on objective figures is helpful to diagnose trends, current situations and problems as well as to prepare for the future prospect of University Colleges. Thus, this study will classify and analyze the statistical data to identify and diagnose the present situation. In order to clarify the present situation of University Colleges, this study deduces policy implications by conducting a diachronical inquiry and present condition analysis on international exchange indicators, focusing on the four major indicators of international students, students dispatched from abroad, domestic incoming students and dropout students. To suggest the solutions of the crisis(reduction in the number of students etc.) with University Colleges, It is important to traces the changes in backgrounds, contents, and outcomes of the government’s policies on inter- national exchange students. Analysis of international exchange indicators are useful for identifying advantages or risk factors etc., and It can provide direction in establishing and implementing desirable policies. Consequen- tially, this study aims to contemplate improvements and to minimize the negative aspects through analysis of international exchange indicators.
