플루이드 아트(Fluid Art)기법을 적용한 추상적 표현의 바디페인팅 작품 연구

In the modern times, people share various information and contents via a social network. With the emergence of diverse social media platforms such as YouTube and Pinterest, they have become new culture. Recently, fluid art, one of such diverse contents, has drawn an attention both domestically and globally as a multi-art form which is applicable to diverse fields. Under these circumstances, this study attempted to develop new abstract expression techniques by applying fluid art to exhibition works at body painting in the belief that it would also be available as a new material for body painting. For this, easy-to-access acrylic pouring which ensures great results was applied among fluid art techniques, and a total of 4 different works were designed on torso mannequins, and the results found the followings: Acrylic pouring was enough to create a new abstract expression technique. It is likely that the non-uniform, unique design resulting from incidental effects would be highly applicable to diverse design fields and also available as works for body painting exhibition. The unique material of fluid art escaping from conventional expression techniques reveals a possibility of new body painting. It is anticipated that such non-uniform creative body painting would further grow into a contemporary art genre through continued studies on new techniques.
