초록
Recently, environmental issues worldwide have been a serious concern, especially plastic pollution in the ocean, and irresponsible consumption and production, connected to target targets 12.5 and 14.1 in United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). In contrast, the awareness of both targets in the UK is the lowest, according to the global survey of the World Economic Forum. Therefore, the research aims to suggest an effective QR Code campaign design prototype based on ELM to raise awareness of both targets as QR Code graphics and infographics on the TESCO ASHBECK ENGLISH Water label. Because QR Code marketing strategies on packaging labels have spread continually. Moreover, the research implemented secondary research, two questionnaire and observation methods. Finally, a focus group interview was conducted with tangible design outcomes for evaluation. As a result, in the QR Code design, 50% agreed to scan them, except 33% wanted rewards. And type A was preferred by 67% because of the white background. In infographic design, target 12.5 was successful. In contrast, target 14.1 was required more alignment of years' expressions, information and illustrations. Finally, participants suggested adding description pages of UNSDGs and solution information. Thus, further research will be required into a more interactive QR Code campaign design and effective visualisation methods of UNSDGs and solution information in a future version.
