디자인 창업 활성화를 위한 법적·제도적·산업적 개선 방안 연구 - 프리랜서 디자이너를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to establish a framework for revitalizing the economic activities of freelance designers, focusing on design expertise. To this end, this study first analyzed the redefinition of design startups and the concept of freelance designers. Second, the trend of changes in designer wages and qualification standards was analyzed. Third, to analyze the current status of the freelance designer industry, we analyzed the design field and transaction amount of Kmong and LOUD and conducted a secondary analysis of in-depth interviews with freelance designers. Lastly, a direction for revitalizing design startups was proposed, and the results are as follows: First, there is a need to expand awareness of design startups centered on expertise. Second, there is a re-recognition of the value of design expertise. Third, supplement and modify the system of the freelance online platform. This includes project typing and expansion of design transaction amount according to design concept scope setting. It is hoped that a systematic and practical framework for freelancers will be established based on this study in the future.
