초록
The purpose of this study is to identified the cancer health screening rates of people with disabilities and analyze the physical accessibility, affordability, and psychological accessibility factors that influence them. In this study, 6,660 adults aged 20 or older who participated in the 2020 Survey on the Status of Persons with Disabilities were targeted. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, X2-test, and multiple logistic regression using the SPSS win 26.0 program. There was a statistically significant difference in the participation of people with disabilities for cancer health screening in physical, affordability, and psychological accessibility. In particular, communication was identified as a meaningful influencing factor in the provision of convenience facilities and medical services at medical institutions. It can be seen that in order to improve the cancer health screening of the people with disabilities, it is necessary not only to expand convenience facilities but also to facilitate communication with the disabled. This suggests that the policy approach to improve health checkups, which should be considered as a priority depending on the factors influencing cancer screening for people with disabilities, should also change.
