ESG 교양수업 개발을 위한 대학생들의 환경(E), 사회(S), 지배구조(G) 인식에 관한 연구

A variety of response measures are being prepared for ESG across local governments, public institutions, companies, and communities. Universities that train outstanding talents for the future society should also organize and operate ESG-related content in the basic liberal arts curriculum so that college students can enter society with an ESG perspective. As a basic step in the development of ESG classes as a basic liberal arts, this study was conducted to determine whether college students are currently properly aware of the environmental (E), social (S), and governance (G) areas of ESG, as well as ESG consumer awareness, ESG participation, and A survey was conducted on ESG interest. As a result of the survey, it was confirmed that college students were aware of ESG components in the following order: environment (average 95.1%), governance (average 68.6%), and society (average 13.7%). As a result of the study, it was found that although college students are well aware of the environment (E) of ESG, systematic information and education on the environment (E) are needed more than other components of ESG due to systematic education materials. In conclusion, this researcher confirmed that college students are aware of ESG to some extent because they are accessing various information about ESG through various channels. Through this, universities need to provide systematic education through university education so that university students can learn and apply the ESG they are aware of in practice, and so that learning can be transferred.
