항공기내 안내방송 교과의 학습효과에 관한 연구

초록
오늘날 기업이 글로벌 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해 직무역량 및 조직접합성을 갖춘 인재를 채용하는경향이 더욱 두드러지고 있다. 이러한 경향으로 대학에서는 현장 중심의 실무능력을 갖춘 인재를 양성하는학과 개설이 증가하고 있다. 특히 항공서비스학과에서는 실무 중심의 교육을 통해 항공사 객실승무원의역량을 갖춘 인재를 양성하고 있다. 항공기내 안내방송은 승객의 안전과 편안한 여행을 위해 운항 중 실시되는 필수적인 업무 절차로, 항공사에서는 객실승무원을 대상으로 철저하게 교육을 시행하고 있으며, 항공서비스학과에서도 학생들에게 관련된 교육을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 학생들이 수강하는 항공기내 안내방송교과의 학습 효과에 대한 검증이 부족한 상황이다. 학생들이 해당 교과를 수강하면서 실제로 얼마나 역량이향상되는지에 대한 체계적인 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 항공기내 안내방송 교과를 수강하는 학생들이학습 전후 역량을 자가진단하고, 이를 t-검정에 의한 쌍체비교를 통해 결과를 도출하였다. 분석 결과, 커뮤니케이션 기법, 기본적인 방송 기법, 한국어 방송 기법, 영어 방송 기법의 모든 영역에서 학생들의 역량이 통계적으로 유의미하게 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 커뮤니케이션 기법의 학습효과가 가장 크게 나타났으며, 영어 방송 기법의 학습 효과가 가장 낮게 나타났다 전체적으로 항공기내 안내방송을 위해 요구되는 전문적인 기술 부분에서 높은 학습 효과를 보였다. 결국 기업이 요구하는 직무능력을 갖춘 인재로의 성장을 위해항공서비스학과 교육과정에 항공기내 안내방송 교과의 개설이 필요함이 확인되었으며, 이는 학생들의 취업및 직업적 성공에 기여하게 될 것으로 기대된다
Abstract
In today's competitive global market, companies are increasingly inclined to recruit individuals who possess both job-specific skills and organizational suitability. Universities are expanding their majors to teach and produce professionals with practical skills tailored to industry demands. In particular, Airline Service departments are focusing on practical training to develop the competencies required for cabin crews. In-flight announcements are essential procedures conducted during flights to ensure passenger safety and comfort. Airlines provide rigorous training for their cabin crew, and airline service departments also offer relevant education to their students. However, there is a lack of systematic research on the learning outcomes of students enrolled in in-flight announcement courses. It is necessary to investigate how effectively these courses enhance students' competencies. This study aims to assess the learning outcomes of students enrolled in an in-flight announcement course by conducting self-assessments before and after the course and analyzing the results using paired t-tests. The analysis revealed statistically significant improvements in all areas, in cluding communication skills, basic in-flight announcement skills, Korean in-flight announcement skills, and English in-flight announcement skills. The greatest improvement was observed in communication skills, while the lowest was in English in-flight announcement skills. Overall, the results indicated high learning effectiveness in the specialized skills required for in-flight announcements. The findings confirm the necessity of including in-flight announcement courses in airline service curricula to foster the growth of professionals with the job competencies demanded by the industry. This is expected to significantly contribute to students' employment prospects and professional success. This study underscores the importance of continuously ver ifying and enhancing educational programs to improve practical skills in line with industry requirements.
