This study analyzed the following results based on empirical data from 162 students to confirm the relationship between self-leadership, self-efficacy, and learning engagement recognized by university students.. Second, self-efficacy between self-leadership and learning engagement showed a partial mediating role. It was empirically proven that self-efficacy acts as a major factor that can improve self-leadership and learning engagement. This study additionally provided theoretical implications on the variables of self-leadership, self-efficacy, and learning engagement and their influence relationships. In addition, establishing a plan for self-leadership and self-efficacy to improve university students' learning engagement is a practical implication.. This is an aspect that requires substantial self-leadership and self-efficacy improvement measures for university students to achieve their goals through their own learning engagement. Accordingly, future research requires the application of various variables that can enhance learning engagement and the need for continuous empirical research on them.
