치위생 전공 학생들의 핵심역량에 따른 ESG 경영에 대한 인지도

This study aimed to analyze dental hygiene students’ awareness of ESG management about core competencies and to explore future educational directions. Written consent to participate in the study was obtained from volunteers who expressed their intention to participate. A total of 86 dental hygiene students from University B, located in City C, participated in the study. The survey included 48 questions related to core competencies and 3 questions related to ESG management. Students with a high awareness of ESG exhibited strong communication skills, particularly in global competency (p<0.05). Interpersonal skills were higher among those who reported considering ESG ratings when purchasing products (p<0.05). Among those who indicated that they would consider ESG ratings when applying for a job, higher levels of core competencies were observed (p<0.05). It was confirmed that subjects with high awareness of ESG had higher communication competencies, particularly in global competency. In the future, this data will serve as a foundation for developing university curricula and programs aimed at enhancing ESG management awareness and core competencies.
