초록
This study analyzes the collections of Kunihiko Morinaga’s brand Anrealage from the perspective of posthumanist theory, exploring the potential of fashion to reconstruct the relationships among humans, technology, nature, and nonhuman entities. Moving beyond a technology-centred approach, the research positions fashion as anareafor philosophical practice. Focusing on four key concepts—reconstruction of the humanbody, human-nonhuman hybridization, cyborg aesthetics and sensory expansion, andsustainableandecologicalcoexistence —it investigates how Anrealage embodies a distinct design philosophy aligned with posthumanist thought. In particular, by examining collections spanning approximately two decades (2006-2025) from a diachronic perspective, the study reveals a clear brand trajectory from early craft-based practices to experimental forms, and more recently, to technology-driven interface design. Through this lens, Anrealage is interpreted not merely as a brand that reflects posthumanist discourse, but as one that actively enacts and visualizes it. Ultimately, this study suggests that fashion can function as a new aesthetic that dismantles anthropocentrism and integrates technology, ethics, environment, and the senses, offering a theoretical foundation for envisioning the future direction of sustainable fashion.
