국방M&S체계 국방과학기술수준 분석 및 발전방안 도출 연구

The modeling and simulation (M&S) system is the first word for modeling and simulation, and the defense M&S system is used to model battlefield conditions similar to reality using models or other tools to predict the outcomes through simulation and provide data to assist in decision-making. In modern times, the M&S system is considered a way to efficiently respond to changes in the rapidly changing security environment and future warfare by reducing the real risks and costs. This system is considered an important tool for analyzing the performance of various tactics, strategies, equipment, and support decision-making. Developing an M&S system requires accurate measurements of the current technology level based on the trends in related technologies. In the present study, major technologies for the defense M&S system were classified using M&S system experts. In addition, the level of domestic technology was compared with that in the most advanced countries by selecting the most advanced countries for each middle category through Delphi surveys and expert discussions. Based on the results of the technology level survey and the trend of technology development in the most advanced countries, the direction of development for Korea's defense M&S system is presented in the conclusion.
