기업의 위험성평가 실시에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석: 300인 미만 제조업 사업장을 중심으로

Today, the government focuses on proactive prevention rather than post-incident punishment to reduce industrial accidents, and the growing social interest in corporate ESG management has further highlighted the importance of work safety. Therefore, risk assessment is emphasized as a key means to prevent industrial accidents. However, the majority of workplaces still do not properly implement risk assessments. This study examines the current status of risk assessment implementation in manufacturing workplaces with fewer than 300 employees, where industrial accident management is relatively insufficient, and identifies the factors affecting the implementation of risk assessments. For the empirical analysis, data from the 10th Occupational Safety and Health Survey were collected, and a decision tree analysis was performed using a total of 2,529 data. The results revealed that 80.1% of companies conducted risk assessments, but only 57.2% conducted them regularly. In addition, key factors that affect the implementation of risk assessments were found to be the number of supervisors, the number of workers, and the provision of information and support by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA). Regular implementation of risk assessments is crucial. To achieve this, it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring of risk assessment implementation in small and medium-sized workplaces, provide support for the smooth performance of supervisors, and expand the information and support provided by KOSHA.
