초록

This study aims to construct a scientific and systematic evaluation model for the design of museum cultural and creative products (MCCPs), addressing the prevalent issues of superficial cultural interpretation and product homogenization. With China’s continued economic growth and evolving consumption patterns, public demand for spiritual and cultural goods has significantly increased. However, fundamental research questions—such as what constitutes high-quality MCCPs and how to quantitatively assess their design value—remain insufficiently addressed. To tackle these challenges, the study formulates two core research questions: Can the design quality of MCCPs be quantitatively evaluated through a multidimensional framework? Do different user groups assign varying levels of importance to design elements? Based on an extensive literature review, the study systematically categorizes relevant design elements and constructs an evaluation model using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Expert and consumer evaluations were collected, and SPSS software was used to calculate the weights of each criterion, ultimately deriving a priority ranking of design elements. Furthermore, three representative products were selected for case validation, and the model’s applicability was confirmed through comparison with market performance data. The results reveal significant differences in value judgments among user groups, confirming the model's capacity to accommodate diverse user preferences. Additionally, by drawing on Chinese MCCP cases, this study extracts culturally resonant evaluation dimensions and proposes an adaptable model for the Korean context, aligning with the national strategy of “modern reinterpretation of traditional culture” through adjusted weighting structures. In conclusion, the proposed AHP-based evaluation framework not only streamlines the design assessment process but also provides a scientific foundation and replicable approach for future product improvement and cross-cultural adaptation, offering valuable reference for regional MCCP development and international transformation.
