부모의 훈육과 비행의 관계 연구

The role of the family in deliquency is important because socialization preventing delinquency has taken place in the family. Therefore the relationship between family factor and delinquency can be examined centering around parental socialization, namely, parental child rearing. This study examines the relationship between parental discipline and adolescent delinquency. Also, the intervening factor of internalization is examined. Because child's internalization of values is important motivational mechanism on delinquency, but also is effected by discipline. To investigate the relationship between discipline and delinquency, survey was conducted using questionnaires over 600 male high school students in Seoul area. Path analyses were conducted to determine the effects of discipline, belief on delinquency. Normative regulation has indirect effect on delinquency through belief. Monitoring and punishment have direct/indirect effects on delinquency. The results of this study show that parental discipline variables affect delinquency. This study has attempted to identify discipline factors related to delinquency, and, ultimately, identify the ways of child rearing which faciliate healthy growing-up of children.
