The Comparison of Impacts of Career Commitment and Organizational Commitment on Job Attitudes among ProfessionalsLee, Ki-Eun*This study compared the impacts of career commitment and organizational commitment on job attitudes in sample of 489 research professionals.The results indicated that both of career commitment and organizational commitment had significant positive influences on skill development and negative influences on turnover intention and that only career commitment had negative influence on career withdrawal intention. Career commitment had more influence on career withdrawal intention than organizational commitment, while organizational commitment had more influence on turnover intention than career commitment. However, career commitment did not have more influence on skill development than organizational commitment.Finally, the implications and the limitations of this study were discussed.
