인삼관련 환경이 급속히 변화하고 있는 실정에서 지금부터라도 우리의 인삼산업 전략을 근본적으로 재검토하여 새로운 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있는 기회를 마련하는 것이 절실히 필요하다. 고려인삼과 육안으로 식별이 곤란한 위조삼과 유사품의 유통으로 인하여 세계에서 가장 큰 인삼시장인 홍콩에서 조차 고려인삼의 지위가 위축되고 있는 실정이다. 문제점은 위조삼에 그치지 않고 고려인삼의 왜곡된 정보에도 큰 원인이 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 국제적으로 보호되고 있는 지리적 표시제도와 인터넷을 연계하여 고려인삼 진품을 확인할 수 있는 품질관리체계를 제시하였다. 품질관리체계를 통하여 위조 및 유사 고려인삼과 관련된 문제를 해결하고 나아가 우리 농산물을 보호하여 농업경쟁력을 강화할 수 있는 방안과 전략을 제시하였다. 제시된 전략에 따라서 인터넷을 통하여 구매자(유통상과 최종소비자)가 상품의 진위여부를 확인할 수 있도록 생산자(혹은 생산자 조합)가 가공상품에 고유번호를 부여하고 중간유통과정에 대한 정보를 관리함으로써 부정유통을 방지할 수 있는 진품확인시스템을 개발하였다.
Abstract
Lately, the Korean ginseng was confronted with the sale crisis in world markets from the various circumstance. One of important difficulties is overspreading of Korean ginseng imitative in foreign markets. In Korean markets also, chinese ginseng was imported illegally and manufactured as Korean ginseng, whcih was resulted in the damage of Korean ginseng brand. The most essential problem is misunderstanding of Korean ginseng's information in the foreigner. In this paper, we developed a genuine guarantee system to identify the true Korean ginseng through internet and geographic cording system of Korean ginseng products. This system can be applied to the enforcement of Korean ginseng sale to international markets.
