This study was to investigate the relationship between food & beverage employees` perceived controls and satisfaction with manager by gender and type of employment. Data were collected from 220 employees in the context of a hotel food & beverage department. The data were analyzed using multiple regression. Chow test, and testing for parallelism. The findings can be summarized as follows: First, output reward and output information have significant positive influence on satisfaction with manager, but output punishment have significant negative influence on satisfaction with manager. Second, output reward is related to satisfaction with manager in the case of female employees, with output reward and output information are related to satisfaction with manager in the case of male employees. Third, output reward is related to satisfaction manager in the case of one year contractors, while output reward and output information are related to satisfaction with manager in case of full timers. In addition, summary and implications, limitations of this study, and future research directions are discussed.
