학문정책의 위상과 교육정책적 연계성 - 인문학 분야 인적자원개발 방안 모색을 중심으로

This paper purports to search for policy strategies to develop of the Humanities, with special focus on the relationship between the science policy and the educational policy in Korean 'Participatory Government'. The science policy is an auxiliary means of the education policy, and is dependent upon the education policy in Korea. Therefore, the science policy should have independent position against the education policy to promote the human resource development of the Humanities in Korean 'Participatory Government'. To facilitate academic researches and human resource development of the Humanities in Korean 'Participatory Government', First, this paper purposes that the Korean government establish the special research/policy institute for the Humanities on national level. Second, we need to establish the Humanities (Public Research) Fund for mobilization and management of financial resources to promote the Humanities, comparable to NEH[the National endowment for the Humanities] in the United State. Third, we need to establish the Presidential Committee for the Science Policy/the Humanities to promote independent policy (position) for the sciences or the Humanities. Finally, we urgently need policy efforts to facilitate the Humanities teaching in the higher education, education system should be established to 'The Professional Graduate School' for education, and changed 'The Graduate School of Education' to 'The Professional Graduate School for Education' to upgrade quality of teaching and research abilities of the Humanities.
