거시경제학적 접근방법에 의한 증권시장과 증권가격의 상호관계에 관한 연구

현재 각 국가의 경제에 있어서 증권시장이 점하고 있는 비중이 증가하고 있다는 것은 개발 도상국가들이나 선진 국가들의 공통점이다. 하지만 경제 이론적으로 살펴 볼 경우, 증권가격이 형성되는 직접금융 및 증권시장은 간접금융에 비하여 연구대상으로 그다지 주목받지 못하였다. 예를 들면 대표적인 거시경제학에서는 IS－LM 및 AD－AS의 모델분석처럼 금융＝은행활동을 그 연구대상으로 하고 있다는 것이다. 역사적으로 살펴 볼 경우, 직접금융에서 간접금융으로 이동하는 것이 추세였지만 1980년대 이후에는 간접금융에서 직접금융으로 다시 회귀하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 예를 들면 은행이탈이나 증권화와 같은 현상이 나타나고 있는 것이 그 좋은 예가 될 것이다.이처럼 현실과 비교하여 이론적으로 생각할 경우, 소위 직접금융은 거시경제이론의 블랙박스가 되어 있다고 할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 바탕 위에서 Money and Banking이 Monetary Economics로 발전하는 것처럼 원점으로 돌아와서 증권론을 직접금융의 경제학으로 전개할 필요가 대두되고 있는 것이다. 즉 이론적으로도 현실적으로도 증권(시장)에 관한 분석은 단지 증권론에만 한정하지 말고 더 나아가 거시경제학적으로 직접금융을 경제학으로 전개하여 볼 필요가 있다고 생각한다. 본 논문에서는 그러한 시험을 한번 시도하여 보았다.
Abstract
The role of stock market in a country's economy is significantly increasing, and such is the common trend found both in developing countries and developed countries. Despite their influential position, direct financing and stock market have not been the center of attention in theocratical study. In macroeconomics, the subject of study has been indirect financing. For instance, in exemplary macroeconomic theories such as IS－LM and AD－AS model, the equation of financing＝banking has been commonly applied. Historical trend showed the transition from direct financing to indirect financing, but after 1980s, the direction is reverted, going back to direct financing again. Evidentially, more investors are pulling their money out of bank and securitization is rapidly increasing. Considering such changes in real world, direct financing is supposedly a ‘black box’ of macroeconomics in theoretical world. As Monetary Economics has evolved from Money and Banking, maybe it's time for us to go back to where we've started and try developing the theory of security from a different standpoint, economics of direct financing. In other words, security(market) analysis should step forward from securities theory itself, and we should alternately approach it as a direct financing in macroeconomic viewpoint. In this study, such alternative approach was tried and tested.
