진보적 디자인 개념 개발의 전략적 가치연구 -의자 디자인 개념을 중심으로-

This research began to set up and to create the advanced design concept development strategy making itself agreeable to the new design paradigm. Its ultimate purpose is to set up the strategic value which allows to create the academic, practical and educational design concept. To give better understanding of the development of forms, this research concentrated on Raymond Lowey's - who is well known designer for his advanced design concepts - 'Most Advanced, yet Acceptance' field. The strategic type of advanced chair design concept is recognized by analysing and crossing the two variables - the market and the technique - based on Lowey's opinion. Additionally, it is explained by organizing the chronicle of the advanced chair design concept from 19th to 20th century. Instead of organizing it by the technique and the acceptance of the consumers, this research was lined up by classifying the technical, structural, moderate, organic, ornamental and the new conceptual value. Therefore this research evaluated the common field of the microscopic environment design, furniture design and product design.
