사립학교법 쟁점에 대한 교사의 태도 분석

The study was conducted to learn private school teachers' attitude about the revision of Private School Law, which is now being discussed in the 17th National Assembly. To this end, I looked at relevant issues of the revision, conducted a survey of private school teachers on their attitude about it, analyzed the results, and contemplated where the current discussion should go. The findings are as follows; First, many of private school teachers were supporters of Private School Law revision. They strongly supported the issues that interest groups didn't have much differences over, including tighter rules on return of corrupt school officials, open-screening system for teacher recruitment, tighter rules on restriction of relatives' participation in school board, revision of clause on school board writing and disclosure. They somewhat supported the issues that interest groups had much differences over, including teacher's associations' recommendation of teacher personnel board members and teacher disciplinary board members,recommendation of outside inspectors. They showed relatively lukewarm attitude about the introduction of outside director system, compared to other issues. Second, they showed meaningful difference in their attitude, according not to their gender, position and school, but to their age and affiliate. In particular, teachers under 30 were more lukewarm about the law revision than those over 40. The members of the Korea Teachers and Educational Workers Union strongly supported the revision just like their affiliate while the members of the Korea Federation of Teacher's Associations were somewhat supported it unlike their affiliate, which is opposing it.
