IT 벤처기업의 경영성과 영향요인에 관한 연구

초록
본 연구는 IT 벤처기업들의 내부 역량과 연구개발 능력을 살펴보고 이러한 조건들이 신제품 개발을 통해 이루어진 경영 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 파악하여 연구개발에서부터 경영 성과를 이루기까지의 효과적인 운영전략을 제안해 보고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 연구개발 능력, 내부역량, 신제품 특성과 같은 내적 요인과 시장구조 특성과 같은 외적 요인을 독립변수로 하고 경영 성과를 종속변수로 하는 연구 모형을 수립하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 R&D 상용화에 따른 신제품 개발로 이루어지는 IT 벤처기업의 성장과 경영성과에 대한 관계를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 우량 벤처기업의 경우에는 본 연구에서 제시한 주요 요인들이 모두 유의한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 내부역량 요인에 속하는 재무, 신제품 특성 요인에 속하는 혁신성, 연구개발 능력 요인에 속하는 연구개발 지원, 그리고 시장구조 특성 요인에 속하는 시장성장성 등은 불량 벤처기업의 경영 성과에는 유의한 영향을 미치고 있지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study was performed to propose effective operation strategies that cover from the time of R&D to the time of achieving business performance by examining the internal capability and R&D ability of IT venture business and the impact of these factors on the business performance accomplished by R&D. To the end, a research model that considers internal factors like R&D ability, internal capability, and new product characteristics as independent variables, while considers external factors like characteristics of market structure characteristics as dependent variables was built, and the model is used to analyze the relationship of business performance with the growth of IT venture business that is comprised of new product development resulting from the commercialization of R&D. The analysis results showed that all the major factors proposed by this study significantly affect the business performance of superior companies, whereas the factors such as finance pertaining to the category of internal capability, innovativeness pertaining to the category of new product characteristics, R&D support pertaining to the category of R&D ability, and market growth pertaining to the category of market structure characteristics do not affect the business performance of inferior companies significantly.
